It depends on the player — DubMog makes no promise about any particular streaming service. Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Crunchyroll and other paid services protect their videos with DRM, and a protected player can hand extensions silent audio; when that happens, DubMog detects it and tells you. Standard is free, so trying it on what you're watching costs nothing. Yes. Sign in on the web with the same Apple, Google or email account you use in the app and the balance is shared; a web purchase shows up in the app within seconds. Use the same sign-in method everywhere — Apple, Google and email are separate accounts, even with the same address.

Pro voices use energy, measured in minutes. Pro subscribers get a monthly allowance that resets at the start of each billing month, so unused allowance doesn't carry over; energy packs never expire, stack on top, and are used once the allowance runs out. Pro Live uses 3× energy per minute because it runs the fastest engine (just 2× on DubMog Pro's monthly energy in the iPhone and Android apps); Pro Cinematic uses 1×.

DubMog processes your audio to produce a translation and doesn't keep it afterward. Audio is sent securely to our translation provider (Google) in the moment and isn't retained by DubMog. See the Privacy Policy for subprocessors.

DubMog uses machine translation in real time. It's great for conversation and following a story, but it can be imperfect — don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial or other critical decisions.

Some recognition happens on your device, but the real-time features use the cloud, so a connection is recommended.

Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed where you bought it: your Apple Account, Google Play, or the web dashboard. It renews until you cancel, and you manage or cancel it in that same place. Deleting the app doesn't cancel it.

Only with content you own or are otherwise authorized to use. DubMog translates the audio you supply; it doesn't grant rights to third-party movies, shows or music.
