A lot shipped over the last few weeks across iPhone, Android and the web. Here's the round-up, in plain language. Updated September 10.
September 10: iPhone 2.3 and a smarter website
- iPhone 2.3 is on the App Store. Smoother Pro Live dubbing with longer uninterrupted sessions; pick up where you left off after stopping a Live session; clearer Pro Energy info for each mode; transcripts save automatically when a movie dub ends; and your spoken language is detected automatically out of the box.
- The website now greets your device. On a computer with Chrome you get Add to Chrome first; on an iPhone the App Store; on Android, Google Play. Pricing on a computer goes straight to web checkout, and a signed-in account shows its balance live.

Live System Dub (iPhone)
Go live, switch to another app, and DubMog dubs the audio that app is playing — in real time, in your language, with a running transcript. Apps that protect their audio stay silent; DubMog shows a clear "silent source" card instead of pretending. Works best with headphones.
A smoother Pro Live
Pro Live got a reliability pass on both platforms: fewer dropped sentences, better handling when you stop and restart, and more predictable energy use. If you'd hit a dub that cut out or a session that didn't start on the second try, update.
Your account, on the web
dubmog.com now has a sign-in that uses the same Apple, Google or email account as the app, shows your balance and plan, and lets you buy minutes or Pro on the web with a card. Minutes bought on the web appear in the app within seconds. There's also a free browser demo — live mic and dub-a-video — with no install.
One rule to remember: sign in with the same method everywhere. Apple, Google and email are separate accounts even with the same address. If you used Hide My Email with Apple, your Apple account has a private relay address, so a Google sign-in won't find it.
Standard stays free
The Standard tier — on-device voice, unlimited — is free, and it stays free. The Pro tiers use metered energy because they use cloud voices; Standard doesn't, so it never runs out.
